Pastor Hannah Pye
Pastor Hannah, our new preacher since July 2022, is serving Bostwick as her very first pastoral appointment! She was appointed to serve in ministry here during her studies at Emory’s divinity school, Candler School of Theology.
Hannah and her husband Josiah are both originally from Tallahassee, Florida, where they met in the 6th grade! Hannah began her studies at Florida State University in 2017, graduating with a degree in Worship Studies in the Spring of 2022. She is elated to be continuing her theological studies, pursuing a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Scriptural Interpretation at Emory.
Before joining us at Bostwick, Hannah has served in various ministry capacities. She served as a Summer Camp Counselor and School Year Worship Coordinator for Warren W. Willis United Methodist Camp and Conference Center. She also served as a Residential Staff Member and later the Staff Coordinator at The FSU Wesley Foundation, and most recently as the Ministry Assistant to Missions and Children’s Ministries at Killearn United Methodist, while simultaneously serving part-time at Trinity United Methodist Church as their Contemporary Worship Leader. Josiah has also served as the Contemporary Worship Intern at Trinity UMC and Killearn UMC during Hannah’s time in ministry with these congregations.
Hannah and Josiah are so excited to be serving the great people of Bostwick!
