Our Passover Lamb Lives!
April 4, 2021
This Easter as you go through all the rituals your families has developed for Easter, please take time among all the bunnies to remember The Lamb that takes away the sins of the world. And remember He was poured out for you. In addition, remember… OUR Passover Lamb Lives!
Sanctification of the Passover Lamb
March 28, 2021
This night would be remembered by Jews for the rest of time. During Passover every year, devout Jews remember the Passover Seder meal around their family dining room tables. We remember it even more often than yearly, as we participate in Holy Communion as given to us by Christ Jesus, Himself.
Pharaoh’s Heart is Hardened
March 21, 2021
I cannot know what Moses might have been thinking when he and Aaron set out for Egypt from Midian. What an amazing week it must have been. To begin with he was just watching sheep graze. But then he saw a bush burning. And not just an ordinary burning bush; a burning bush from which God Almighty spoke to him. And the next thing he knows he is on his way to Egypt to inform the Pharaoh that he was going to let all his slaves leave into freedom. What a week. It would not be long before Moses and Aaron were standing before the Pharaoh himself.
Moses Becomes the Deliverer
March 14, 2021
As we know from last week, Moses was called by God with the use of a Burning Bush that was not consumed by the fire of God. From that point on Moses was truly a changed man. With the Call of God on his heart Moses set out to Egypt to deliver the Israelites from their bondage. But it would not be a simple task by any measure.
The Three Lives of Moses

We started talking about Moses last week. We talked about how he was set afloat by his mother, Jochebed, in a homemade papyrus basket, or ark as Charles Swindoll calls it. There are some great lessons for us to learn from Moses life, but we can’t cover them all in one sermon. What I want to talk about today is The Three Lives of Moses.
Jochebed’s Plan is Set Afloat

Through the years, as the numbers of the Israelites grew, the Pharaoh feared them more and more. He feared them revolting against Egypt or joining with one of Egypt’s enemies. And with this fear in mind the Pharaoh also issued an order that all male children of the Israelites would be put to death.
“Joseph Has a Family Reunion”
February 7, 2021
Genesis 45:1-3 (34)[48] – Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all his attendants, and he cried out, “Have everyone leave my presence!” So there was no one with Joseph when he made himself known to his brothers. 2 And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard him, and Pharaoh’s household heard about it. 3 Joseph said to his brothers, “I am Joseph! Is my father still living?” But his brothers were not able to answer him, because they were terrified at his presence.
