Hello there,
During this season of Covid-19 we are taking precautions with everyone's health. Please wear a mask for your first visit. We are using staggered seating in the pews, you will see the taped-off areas for seating. And you will see that we are not currently singing hymns.
So, with all that in mind, if you are reading this you are probably exploring our new web site. Bostwick UMC is nestled in the farmlands of northern Morgan County, GA. There are cows, horses, sheep, goats, and especially cotton all around us. We are a friendly church, and of course, you wouldn’t expect me to say otherwise. But that fact has been born out through the years.
As we’ve had people come and visit, looking for a new church, those visitors almost always return to us. After they become regulars, I ask them what prompted them to come in the first place, and why did they come back? The first question has many answers, but the second, why did they come back, usually has a common answer – they felt comfortable in our congregation.
I hope you come to visit us one day. Let us show you our hospitality and let us help you feel comfortable in church.
Maybe even feeling comfortable in church for the first time in a long time.
